Blog For Lazy People – What a niche.

I have always try to update my blog at least once every 2 days or so. Recently I have been slacking as I am pretty busy with other stuff. I then wondered, is there such a thing as a blog for lazy people?

I know that there are automated blogs that generates contents from god-knows-where, but this post is not about automated blogs. It’s about the niche “blog for lazy people“.

I was finding an excuse to be lazy today so I decided to surf the internet for this keyword.  And guess what Google returned?

As you can see from the screen shot above, Hubpages is listed second on the search result.  I have mention in my mini eBook, that Hubpages is one of the 12 websites you must visit after you have created your blog. It gets index by Google super fast.

Just out of curiosity I visited the article and the links to the blog. I am not going to tell you what the person wrote on his/her blog but it’s truly for the lazy blogger. It’s good to know that such stuff exist out there.

However I did learn something today. Sometimes you do not need to write blogs about competitive keywords such as how to make money online, search engine optimization or internet marketing. It’s impossible for a newbie blogger like me to compete for these keywords. I will never be able to rank top 100 on Google search let alone rank top 10.

In the next couple of weeks I am going to do a small research on less competitive keywords. Once I have done that, I am going to use blogger to create my free blog and try my best to rank top 10. I am sure that all of you know the top 2 blogs on the term “make money online” is hosted by blogger.

As for the owner of blog for lazy people, I don’t know who you are, but you deserve a backlink from my blog. You have inspired me to come out with a new blog with a less competitive keyword.

    I’m not so sure about using blogger because long term wise it’s very hard to brand your blog. What I’d do is maybe test the keywords first on a blogger domain before moving the winner to a personal domain. But you’ll have to contend with a temp drop in traffic after the shift, especially if you are depending on search traffic.

    But “Blogging for Lazy People” sounds like a great niche! It might catch on with lots of people. Maybe you should try it too.

    Yeah. Sometimes you don’t have to find a bombastic niche. Just find something that less competitive and you’ll get the unique one.

    and i nver thought that those top the key words make money online are on blogger? wow, so my blogger blog could do well against many blogs out there? lots of work to do for sure to reach that goal.

    Yeah, it’s not easy for new bloggers to get on the first google search result. Therefore, we need to use some other social media websites to promote our posts. I find that digg.com also very fast crawled by Google bot. :)
